Bone needle for nalbinding, tapestry weaving, or other types of yarn-work. Price is for one needle similar to those pictured.
These needles are handmade, cut from the cannonbone (lower leg) of a cow, and hand-polished to a fine, perfectly-smooth surface. They glide easily through past woolen yarns without catching. The needles are approximately 3" in length. Since they are handmade, there will be slight differences in size, shape, and color.
These needles ship USPS with tracking. I generally try to ship within two business days.

Repeat purchase. I have been so pleased with the nåls that I ordered in the past, that I came back to order one for a friend who is new to the craft. I have several nåls, but these are my favorites! They are strong enough for thick yarns and tight stitches, ultra smooth so they do not catch the yarns or chip at the edges/points, and even though they are uniformly sized and true bone white, they are easy to distinguish which is which because they have the tell-tale handcrafted unique differences upon closer examination. I have my first ones from about three years ago and use them daily. They are packaged well and I have never had one arrive damaged.

Items are made to order, so it took a bit to ship, but that was fine. Nicely made, I'm looking forward to using my new nalbinding needle!
