$15.00
Large bone needle for nalbinding, tapestry weaving, or other types of yarn-work. Price is for one needle similar to that pictured.
These needles are handmade, cut from the cannonbone (lower leg) of a cow, and hand-polished to a fine, smooth surface. They glide easily through past woolen yarns without catching; after being used for a short while, they will be further polished by the yarn, until they nearly glow.
The needles are approximately 4" in length, with two eyes, allowing them to hold more yarn, extending the distance between joins in your work. Since they are handmade, there will be slight differences in size, shape, and color.
These needles ship USPS with tracking. I generally try to ship within ten business days.

I'm brand-new to nålbinding. I was using a darning needle for a while because it's what I had on me. Let me tell you, this needle is so solid and smooth. I can use the second eye to load in more yarn that I could normally handle. The process has been made WAY easier with a proper tool. Aside from all of that, it's just a really satisfying needle to hold. It just feels nice in my hand and is the perfect size. If/when I lose or break this one I am definitely coming back here for another one!

Really well made item. Smooth and easy to thread. My only complaint is the näl is thinner than expected. I prefer less flat more thicker as it's less fatiguing on the hand that's holding it to work up some nal binding. I can't fault the craftsman or the craftsmanship. It's a personal preference. It came well packaged and the seller answered all my questions I needed before I decided to buy.
